Wow, the food was amazing! I couldn't expect less from the team - chef Taka truly creates culinary magic with his talent and the dishes (all of them) definitely delivered. Both sushi & kitchen menu items were delicious all around. We loved the freshness of sashimi. The crab roll was so good! The four of us all had different palates and were all satisfied. The restaurant seemed to be the "hot spot" as it was definitely lively on a weekend night. I would love to come back for a lunch on the patio overlooking the beach or intimate dinner at the sushi bar.

Takato exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was elegant, relaxing, and perfect for a special night out. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with incredible flavor, showcasing the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the entire meal. Every course impressed us, and it’s easy to see why Takato is considered one of the best Japanese restaurants in South Florida. We left already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful breakfast! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The creamy avocado toast topped with ripe cherry tomatoes and a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg was delicious. The vegetable omelette, filled with mushrooms, spinach, onions, and green peppers, was light, fluffy, and seasoned just right. The fresh fruit platter was a showstopper—sweet watermelon, juicy cantaloupe and honeydew, strawberries, grapes, blackberries, blueberries, and orange slices served over ice with a beautiful orchid garnish. It was as refreshing as it was beautiful. We also enjoyed freshly pressed mango and pineapple juices that were incredibly fresh, naturally sweet, and the perfect complement to our meal. From the quality of the food to the presentation and relaxing atmosphere, everything exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a fresh, healthy, and delicious breakfast, this place is definitely worth a visit. We can’t wait to come back! 🍳🥑🍉🍍🥭❤️

What an excellent evening we just enjoyed at TAKATO. We happened to be driving by and saw the activity and classy atmosphere, so we decided to park and stop in. This is an elegant space, and I was not particularly elegantly dressed. Still, my entire group was treated with the utmost courtesy by some of the finest and most attentive staff I can recall. From host station through departure, everyone was top tier. I’ll be more thoughtful with my attire next time though, out of respect for the establishment. The food and cocktails were outstanding. We ordered an off menu martini, and the bartenders improvised to make some really delicious cocktails. Sushi was wonderful, and we really had a great time. I would go out of my way to come back, primarily because of the outstanding experience curated by TAKATO’s really wonderful team.

We had an amazing experience at Takato! The sushi and ceviche were absolutely delicious. Our server, Illia, truly surprised us. My husband and I were celebrating our monthiversary, and he made us feel very special with the delicious sushi rice crispy ice cream. We really appreciate your kindness, Illia — excellent service! Also, Rodri the food runner was very attentive and friendly. Jeff and Alex from valet parking were also very attentive and kind. Highly recommend this place!
